Hypnotherapy: Hypnotherapy is a technique used to help individuals address unconscious or blocked emotional experiences. The therapy may help the client to process events as well as draw resolve and conclusion to difficult experiences from the past. Unlike hypnosis, hypnotherapy allows the client to remain aware of their interactions with the therapist and to experience heightened states of relaxation during the session. Limited to use for certain clinical conditions, an evaluation of its use can occur between Dr. Wilson and client.
